Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Cream the vegetarian butter (plant-based) and natural brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the natural vanilla extract and apple cider vinegar, mixing well. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with plant-based milk, until a soft dough forms.
- Roll and Layer: On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Sprinkle the additional cinnamon and natural brown sugar evenly over the dough surface. Roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other to create a spiral.
