Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties: Combine ground beef or plant-based burger mix with vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well incorporated but avoid overworking. Form into evenly sized patties for even cooking.
  2. Cook the Smoked Turkey Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook smoked turkey bacon until crispy and golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  3. Cook the Burger Patties: Using the same skillet, add olive oil and cook patties for about 4-5 minutes per side depending on thickness. When flipping, top each patty with a slice of plant-based cheese to melt while finishing cooking.
